Science will tell you that if you just eat less and exercise more you’ll lose weight. We’re told to eat only protein, nothing white, eat diet food, low fat, low calorie, no carbs, guzzle massive quantities of water, no dairy, no sugary drinks and exercise like a maniac to burn off way more calories than we are taking in. It’s exhausting – no wonder we can’t stick with it.
Then there’s the self-proclaimed experts extolling the virtues of diets like Paleo, Keto, Scarsdale, Atkins, South Beach, The Mediterranean Diet, and the
list goes on. And, this list barely scratches the surface when it comes to the voluminous types of diets. Who can know which one to choose?
Then we have Dr. Oz recommending what seems to be a new diet pill every other month, the green coffee bean, raspberry ketones, African mango, garcinia cambogia, saffron extract and pretty soon we may even hear of some rare Atlantean purple unicorn dust powder. OK, I’m kidding but you get what I’m saying.
Can weight Loss start in your mind and emotions?
Let me ask you what are you waiting to do? Are you punishing yourself? WHY? When you start relaxing about the things you think you are supposed to do, it will be easier for you to do many of the things you would like to do, and you will stop waiting to do them and you will drop weight. Weight is simply collected energy that isn’t going anywhere so it turns to mass, it’s just hanging around until you decide to do something with it and when you (your trapped emotions, non-trapped emotions & thoughts) get moving it converts from mass into energy and you drop both the weight and the wait.
Sometimes weight can act as a buffer to protect you from things you believe you need protection from or sometimes it can act as a grounding symbol if you feel that your power is too much to handle so you add weight to ground yourself, so you won’t float away. Basically, you need a little re-calibration, so to speak, in your mind and emotions and once you have addressed these you’ll literally lighten up. I’ll reveal how you can hack your system to re-calibrate yourself in just a bit, keep reading.
Here are 5 weight loss secrets that actually work
For those who are very savvy with their healthy eating systems some of this may be no surprise, but to others, YIKES, who knew? And, this is certainly not an exhaustive list – there are lots of other good ideas out there.
Most of us know that we do need to clearly define our ideal weight goal – how much do you intend to weigh and what date do you intend to reach this goal weight? You may also define it with the jean or dress size or inches off your waist or belt. It would be helpful to find out what your optimal weight is for your height and build. Muscle testing is a great way to find that information.
Secret 1. Get your heart happy.
The Heart Wall (a term common in the Emotion Code/Body Code Energy Healing lexicon) is the invisible link that causes weight gain. The heart longs for joy and love. Food can become a temporary substitute for joy or love. Eating to satisfy something so, it’s living to eat rather than eating to live. Food’s primary purpose is fuel. When the heart is wrapped in negative energies, feeling joy is difficult and perhaps expressions of love and joy are difficult too. (Read my Introducing The Heart Wall Blog)

Secret 2. Detox your body.
Having too many toxins in your system will cause your body to hold onto fat (that’s why they call it stubborn – but it’s not the fat that’s stubborn, it’s your body) adipose tissues hold fat. Fat cells encapsulate toxins to keep them from damaging your vital organs. Do your best to eliminate all food additives and as much as is possible remove toxic substances from your home. Excess toxins, from anything and everything are stored in our fat cells.
Train yourself to start reading all the labels on food, cleaning supplies and anything else that may be harboring toxins. One of the big offenders is aspartame – it’s inexpensive, that’s why it’s in so many things and it breaks down into formaldehyde, a Class A carcinogen. The by-product of which is methyl alcohol or wood alcohol.
Monosodium glutamate (MSG) just like aspartame is a neurotoxin, otherwise known as an excitotoxin. Think about who you know with ADD or ADHD – what are they eating and drinking? Watch for the words autolyzed, hydrolyzed or modified on the labels, that means it’s probably MSG. To study obesity, researchers used obese rats, how did they get obese? By eating MSG.
Another big no-no ingredient is high fructose corn syrup. And, in many places even the tap water is toxic, containing fluoride, chlorine, arsenic and heavy metals just to name a few. If you’re mostly drinking bottled water, please drink purified water as the other contains chemicals too. Remember, the cells store the fat and they will also go into fat production as a way of protecting the body from the continuous barrage of toxins.
Then there’s medical toxins, parasitic infestations or fungal infections. It’s estimated that 85-90% of the population of the United States have some type of parasite and they are difficult to identify through medical testing, in fact, most that infest the body won’t show up at all. These are all toxins. The parasites are robbing our bodies of valuable nutrients and the fungus with its insatiable appetite for sugar are both working tirelessly to sabotage our efforts to attain our ideal, healthy weight.
Secret 3. Eat live foods (not really a secret).
Unfortunately, most of us eat a lot of dead stuff and that has very weak energy and again causes weight gain. Try increasing your raw fruit and vegetable intake by 50%.
Secret 4. Avoid inflammatory foods.
What’s #1? Sugar. And, a close second, grains, gluten and bleached flour. I’ve used Roundup on my yard and used bleach on my whites, but I hadn’t planned on making them a part of my diet – but that’s exactly what is happening unbeknownst to many. When trying to reach your ideal weight you will want to avoid these foods even raw, organic sugar and Non-GMO grains. After you have reached your goal weight then select grains that are organic or not genetically modified and honey, agave or stevia as sweeteners.
Secret 5. Stop Emotional Sabotage.
Earlier we talked about the “wait” manifesting itself as weight. I do admit that while this sounds easy we often become hostage to our programs. The average person has between 60,000 and 70,000 per day! Could your thoughts be eating you in turn causing you to eat for comfort?

Avoid negative people and negativity in general, embrace the transformation that is taking place. Look into your mind’s eye and see yourself the way you intend to look, smiling, happy and successful. Throwback your head and laugh, tell yourself ‘I love you’ and tell others you love them too. Make it a point every day to write down all the things you are grateful for. It’s very hard to be grateful and miserable at the same time.
